What is premium?

Premium is for generalists who use Mixcloud a lot. A Premium subscription means you have an unrestricted listening experience across the whole platform.

Why do I not get premium with my Pro subscription?

A Premium subscription gives you an unrestricted listening experience to all public shows on Mixcloud. We run a fair and legal streaming service that supports the people behind the music. The Premium subscription supports this. Pro is specifically for our creators.

Why playback restrictions?

Playback limitations for free listeners are necessary for us to keep running Mixcloud as a fair and legal streaming service that supports the people behind the music. As a free listener without a Premium subscription or when you are not subscribed directly to a creator channel with Mixcloud Select, you are only able to listen to a single show 3 times within a rolling 14 day period. Also, you will only be able to seek forwards in a show, not backwards.
